Owen Sitting Up

Owen has been practicing his sitting-up skills and is becoming quite the master. He now only topples when he tries to reach for things that are just outside the reach of his little arms.

Growing Baby

Owen is practicing his wiggles. He now wiggles all around his blanket and has started playing stinkbug. Someday soon he will become mobile, then watch out world, here he comes.

Here Owen is practicing his foot massage techniques on his Daddy's feet. He even provides his own lotion.

Owen is being happy and says hi to all of his faithful blog followers.

Halloween Party

Well, thus ends our 3 days of Halloween. On Thursday Owen and I went reverse trick-or-treating at the school. We dressed Owen up in his Bumble Bee costume and went to the university. We took treats to Bryce's class and then to the teachers and other graduate students we could find throughout the department. To quote Beth (one of the graduate students) "Candy and a baby, this is the best Halloween ever!"

On Friday we discovered that not many people go out for dinner on Halloween, so we went to one of our favorite restaurants: Fujiama's - a Japanese Habachi Grill (where they cook your food right there in front of you). Owen was very well behaved and slept almost the entire time, and made eyes at the waitress when he was awake. After dinner, we went down the street to reverse trick-or-treat Bob and Jenny (Bob is Bryce's TD advisor). Our little bumble bee then had a quite evening at home.

Saturday we went to a Halloween party that was thrown by Jesse, one of the other TD graduate student. Bryce and I dressed up in Greek costumes and Owen was once again a cute little bumble bee that stole all the girls' hearts. If he's this adorable now, just wait until he grows up a bit : ). We stayed for a little while then came home. And thus concluded our Halloween adventures for this year.
