It's hard to live in St. Louis for four years and not become a Cardinal's fan, so it is understandable that Owen was very excited when his first baseball team was the Cardinals. Here is Owen in his baseball uniform:
This was Owen's first time playing baseball, and although he was a bit afraid of the ball while playing in the field, he did a pretty good job batting. Because of being sick in May, crazy wet weather, and our vacation in the beginning of June, he was only able to make it to about half of the team's games, but he did have fun and might trying playing again next year. Bryce even was able to help out a bit as a base coach, and would have made
his father proud.
