Day Out With Daddy

One day last week Bryce needed to do some shopping for a show he's working on - so we went with him.  The highlight of the trip was the Frozen character cutouts that we found at one of the stores.  MayLynn wanted to pose with Elsa and showed Olaf some love.

After shopping, we went to a Chinese restaurant for lunch, and MayLynn had fun trying to learn how to use chopsticks.  It was definitely a fun day out with Daddy!

Indoor Play

Finding ways to keep kids entertained indoors can be both challenging and fun.  It often includes snacks (such as introducing your kids to pop-rocks and how they pop and tingle when you eat them),

playing catch the crawling baby as she gets under and into everything,

enjoying play time with cousins, and posing for pictures when Mommy pulls out the camera.

I love playing with my little ones!

Winter Sunshine

Having a mild winter makes it easier for me to be able to take the kids outside and play.  Yesterday, while Owen was at school, the girls and I went to the park.  They both loved swinging, and playing on the big toy.  I'm glad that the weather cooperated so we could escape our inner boredom for a day.

Salt Lake 2015 Fan-X

Bryce's brother Jonathan and his wife Laurie had tickets to Fan-X, but they weren't able go, so they gave us their tickets and we got to go instead.  It was a very enjoyable convention and we got to meet the actress Felicia Day. She was very nice and was more than willing to pose for a picture with us. 

We got to see many things that were similar to Comic Con, but their weren't as many people so it wasn't as crowded.  But mostly, it was nice to be able to have a couple of evenings with just the two of us.  Thanks Jon & Laurie!
