First Day of 2nd Grade

Owen started second grade today.  He is going to be in Mrs. Thorpe's class at Horace Mann Elementary. We're looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and fun.

Garrett & Meredith are Married

Bryce's youngest brother, Garrett, married Meredith Dalton on August 21, 2015 at the Salt Lake City Temple.  Here's a picture of the happy couple as the exited the temple:

Playing in the Yard

I love having a fenced in yard and shade from a couple of big oak trees.  The kids love it too.  We have spent a lot of time playing outside this summer.  They can go outside and play and I don't have to worry about them getting into the street.

Treehouse Museum

We took the kids to the Treehouse Museum for a Saturday outing. It is a museum that is made just for kids. We had fun exploring the different exhibits and the kids really seemed to enjoy themselves.  Owen and MayLynn both participated in a fun retelling of the story of the Big Bad Wolf.  Owen was cast as the Big Bad Wolf himself, and MayLynn was a bunny rabbit. A Royer Family Fourth of July

This Fourth of July we headed south and spent the holiday getting caught up with my family.  We had fun playing softball all night long in Blanding's Midnight Madness Tournament. (We played 8 games and took 4th place). Then on the 4th, we enjoyed the parade, got lunch at the park, rested in the afternoon, and then watched fireworks in the rain.

We also got to meet Bradley's new family, Rachel and Ella.
