Since it has been super hot and dry (Midwest dry, not Utah dry, but dry nonetheless) for the past couple of weeks, I've decided that I should water our front lawn occasionally so it doesn't die. I remember playing in the sprinklers when I was a kid, and I loved it. Now Owen is discovering the joy too.
He generally prefers staying behind the sprinkler and either just splashing his hands and feet in the water, or launching ivy leaves out into the lawn with the pressure of the sprinkler. But when Mommy pulls out the camera he thinks I'm making a movie he will occasionally run in the water too.
And where were MayLynn and I while Owen played in the sprinkler? We had fun sitting on the front step and watching Owen get wet and taking pictures.
